Easy to Install
- Factory prepared for installation - each stairlift is built to a customers specifications so we can deliver and fit the stairlift with no alterations necessary.
- No mains wiring necessary - no need for expensive and disruptive alteration to the domestic mains power supply.
Maintenance free batteries - power for the lift derived from 2x 12 volt batteries that are charged via an independent battery charger unit.
- Infra red remote controls - no complicated and unsightly wiring for the lift call stations.
Easy to Use
- Whisper quiet operation - due to the stairlifts DC power supply.
- Joystick and Infra remote control operation. The lift can be 'sent' or 'called' to wherever it is needed.
- 'Soft start' and 'soft stop' technology - there is no jolting or lurching as the lift starts or finishes its journey.
- Swivel seat with locking catch - ensure easy mounting and dismounting from the stairlift. The lift will not operate unless the seat is in the correct riding position.
- Diagnostic digital display - mounted on the stairlift carriage, this shows clearly when the lift is in the normal operating position, and also provide invaluable diagnostic information in the unlikely event of a fault with your stairlift.
- Folding Seat & Footrest - the stairs remain available for use by others, as the stairlifts seat, arms and footrest fold away when not in use.
Safe to Use
- Designed to meet BS5776-1996. Additional certification granted by TRL EMC.
- Pressure sensitive safety surfaces that prevent the lift from colliding
with any obstruction on the stairway. These are located around the footrest, and on the top and bottom of the carriage.
- Limit sensors to ensure that the stairlift always stops in the correct position.
- Electronic and mechanical braking systems eliminates the possibility of an uncontrolled descent.
- Lockable isolation switch.

Installation
Your Mobility One Stair lift is normally installed in less than 1 hour. Curved lifts take a few hours longer.
Leave it all to us. We will arrange to fit the electrical supply to the required standards. If there is a need to reposition central heating radiators or similar equipment, if your banister rails need repositioning or if you need additional grab rails, we can arrange for this to be done prior to the installation of your stair lift. It's all part of the More Than Mobility Service.
Maintenance Service
We provide a speedy reliable back-up and maintenance service to ensure that you will be consistently happy with your lift.
With over 20 customer care engineers nationwide, you will not be kept waiting long in the unlikely event of a breakdown.
All stair lifts are designed to comply with BS5776 and BS5900 Standards.
Your Mobility One stair lift is guaranteed for a period of 12 months from the installation date. The guarantee provides cover for all parts replacement and labour charges should your lift need to be repaired through mechanical or electrical failure. We recommend that you have your stair lift serviced once each year by our fully trained engineers. |
